Clinicians at Routes to Bloom

Beth Vervaert, LCSW

Psychotherapist/clinical social worker and Founder

Hi there! I’m Beth. I earned my master’s in clinical social work from the University of Connecticut and am a licensed clinical social worker by the state of Connecticut. I earned my undergraduate degree at Central Connecticut State University. My theoretical orientation combines a humanistic, holistic, trauma informed, relational and solution focused approach that is augmented by systematic thinking and interventions. With over 20 years of experience, I have had extensive training and experience working with and evaluating children, teens, families and adults. My specializations include anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, complex trauma and PTSD. I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and TFCBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and attachment work. I also enjoy providing clinical supervision helping newer clinicians to learn and grow, meeting the criteria to provide supervision as established by the National Association Board of Social Work. As your therapist or your supervisor, you can expect my full commitment to further you on your journey into finding your path towards healing and meeting your goals.

Tamara Carlson, LPC-A

Psychotherapist

In a world filled with pressure, uncertainty, and constant demands, I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you can pause, breathe, and focus on yourself. I work with clients who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, stressed, navigating life transitions, healing from past experiences, or simply seeking greater balance and fulfillment in their lives. I view therapy as a partnership. Together, we will explore your experiences, identify strengths you may not realize you already possess, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with confidence. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs and goals.
